When Vic renovated the kitchen in her 1940's bungalow the aim was to create a room that worked harmoniously with the style of the house, and wouldn't date quickly. She choose the traditional look of panelled wood but gave it a clean-lined, contemporary feel with handleless cabinetry in white two pot lacquer. Texture, warmth, and personality were added in the touches of wood, brass, the stone bench top, and the beautiful tiled splash back.
