Renovation - Te Awanga, Hawke’s Bay

We had previously worked with Kim & Bruce to renovate the cottage on their Te Awanga property, before moving onto this, their main home. Designed in 1978 by architect Steve McGavock, the protégé of the renowned John Scott, the bones were beautiful with vaulted ceilings, pivot doors, and a fabulous, well-thought out design. It was our job to help breathe new life into the beauty. We selected all the paint colours, window treatments, flooring, rugs, furniture, lighting, and much of the art and decor. Many pieces were custom designed for the home. Overlooking it’s own vineyard to the hills beyond, this really is a special property and it was our pleasure to be involved in it’s beautification.
