: : At Bibby + Brady we offer a complete interior design and decorating service for residential and boutique commercial projects. Full-service means we manage your interior design project from concept to completion.

:: INITIAL CONSULTATION:

We always start with an initial consultation, which is necessary to gain a clear perspective of your project. We will visit your space and spend up to an hour getting to know you, determining your style, and what you hope to achieve. This usually starts with a tour of your home or commercial space and/or going over any architect or building plans. If you have any inspirational images to show us, this will help us identify your style, or you can provide us with your Pinterest link. We will ask you lots of questions about how you live/work and what you hope to achieve. A quote and a plan outlining how we will proceed will be emailed to you in the days following your consultation. There is a cost of $350.

We work with clients nationwide, so if you live outside Hawke's Bay (Napier, Hastings or Havelock North), we can arrange to travel to you - please note in this case the consultation fee will include travel, which will be advised. We may be able to do the initial consultation by phone or Skype, but for the best outcome a trip to visit you at least once throughout the process will be necessary.

:: Full interior design service

This is if your space needs an overhaul but nothing structural. A consultation is followed by our proposal and, if accepted, a custom design including any or all of the following - colours, floor and window treatments, furniture and accessories, lighting and art. You can then think of us as your personal shoppers - we will order, track and manage all purchases. If you’re in Hawke’s Bay we can project manage any painting, wallpapering, floor and window treatment installation. Finally we will install and style your finished space.

  • proposal (quote) for initial design will be emailed to you (allows for one round of revisions*)

  • design concept board and furniture plan

  • presentation (if you live outside Hawke’s Bay, the board is emailed and the design explanation is done over the phone)

  • shopping list emailed to you

  • move onto an hourly rate from this point

  • purchase of products and accessories, and co-ordination of any custom pieces, including furniture, cushions and window treatments

  • track and manage all ordered products

  • installation and styling (if you live outside Hawke’s Bay, this step will be discussed as it will involve travelling for us)

*Additional revisions upon request will be charged at an hourly rate.

:: New build or renovation

Whether you are building from the ground up or renovating an existing space, we know the process can be overwhelming and, at times, stressful. We can take away much of this stress by overseeing the project for you - we will not only design your space, but also liaise with contractors and manage all aspects of the project. Talk to us if you need help finding the right contractors for your project.

A consultation is followed by our proposal and, if accepted, a custom design including any or all of the following - selection of materials and finishes, kitchen, bathroom and laundry design, colours, floor and window treatments, furniture and accessories, lighting and art. You can then think of us as your personal shoppers - we will order, track and manage all purchases. We can project manage any contractors, and finally we will install and style your finished space.

  • hand-selection of finishes, hard surfaces, plumbing fixtures, paint colours, and materials

  • design concept board and furniture plan

  • 3D visuals and elevations available upon request

  • collaboration with contractor/s on floor plans, cabinetry, millwork, electrical and lighting plan

  • on-site visits to field questions and monitor progress

  • meet with architects, builders and contractors

  • purchase products and accessories, and co-ordinate any custom pieces, including furniture, cushions and window treatments

  • track and manage all ordered products

  • installation and styling
