Kitchen and dining renovation - napier hill

Our clients’ home is a beautiful architecturally designed house with the most stunning views over Napier, but after 17 years of enjoyment they wanted to refresh a few areas, primarily the kitchen and dining space. As we know this is the heart of any home, and after our initial visit we decided that as well as an updated kitchen we also needed to completely re-orientate it to make the most of the space and views. Because the kitchen is in an open plan space between the dining and living rooms we wanted it to look almost like furniture. We designed the built-in banquette to run seamlessly off the kitchen and paired it with a custom dining table. The curved breakfast bar, banquette and table soften the angles found in the architecture.
