Renovation - Napier Hill

Dael’s home has undergone quite a few renovations over the past few years. A bedroom was turned into the family’s media room. Wall panelling was added to create architectural interest, and then painted a deep navy blue for an inviting, cosy vibe. Curtains on a double track allow sunlight to filter in during the day, and heavy lining can be pulled for warmth and darkness. A custom made sofa nearly fills the width of the room for the perfect movie seating.

A major change to the layout and flow of the main living area has created a much more harmonious and useable open plan space. A wall was knocked out and the laundry relocated to open up the dining room. The old kitchen was completely demolished and a new one installed 90 degrees to the old. A sunroom wall was also removed and the floor levelled out to create one large living room space. Panelling was also added to the hallway, wallpaper to the stairwell, and the house recarpeted.
