Renovation - Napier Hill

We worked with these wonderful clients five years ago designing their dining room, living room and sunroom. So it was a pleasure to be invited back into their home to design their new kitchen and another small living space off the kitchen. A couple of key structural changes to the kitchen made a huge impact on the functionality and feel of the space. A door into the dining room was filled in to allow for extra storage and much better functionality (there is another door also leading to the dining room less than a meter away). Also the end window was replaced with one that ran the full width of the room creating more light and a more balanced, aesthetically pleasing look.

In the living room we designed a built-in bookshelf that tied in with the kitchen cabinetry for a sense of cohesion, and created a cosy and inviting social setting with new furniture grounded by a custom rug. New flooring running throughout both rooms created a seamless flow and sense of space.
