If you're ever visiting the tiny seaside town of Te Awanga in Hawke's Bay, you'll find a little piece of France on the corner of Clifton Road and Pipi Street. I introduced you to So Vintage not long ago - an amazing treasure trove of French and European furniture, all genuine antique, vintage and industrial pieces. On Saturday Dael and I, and our lovely friend Bec, attended the So Vintage industry evening, and got to see all the incredible new stock that has recently arrived from France.
Mehdi and Korreen have done a fantastic job of finding and importing an impressive selection of vintage pieces. And these are the real deal, no replicas here! The letters and numbers were my favourites - I'm such a huge fan of typography. But there are quite a few things I'm coveting, including an antique ladder for my twins' room.
It's so wonderful to have such special and unique items in my own backyard, but if you can't make it to Hawke's Bay, you can still visit So Vintage at their website and Facebook page. I'll leave you with a little bit more inspiration of how you can work some of these pieces in your own home...
