Candybox Giveaway

Have I ever mentioned that I have a serious sweet tooth? That saying, it's only natural that I was immediately taken in by the next brand new company I'm going to introduce you to... Candybox is the love child of Sharon Donaghey and Tineke Bright, two Auckland girls who became fast friends 10 years ago in London. Their sweet idea was born over countless meetings that involved plenty of laughs and the odd glass of wine.

We all love giving presents to our friends and family, and who doesn't love candy?! So the girls have designed and printed a range of delightful boxes for every occasion that they fill with a mixture of delicious lollies, 100 of them to be exact. For $20 you get a candybox, a funky little card and delivery to anywhere in New Zealand.

Today you, my beautiful readers, will get the chance to win a Love, Love, Love candybox just in time to give to your favourite person for Valentine's Day. And not just one of you, Sharon and Tineke are giving away three Love Love Love boxes - one each to three different readers. So you have triple the chance of winning!

Go and visit Candybox's website, and tell me which box you think you'd be most likely to purchase first. Leave a message below, or over on the Facebook link, and you'll be in the draw. Three names will be drawn and announced on the blog and facebook page next Monday 11 February (to allow time for postage before V Day). Winners will need to make contact before Tuesday 12 February, or we will have to re-draw. Competition only open to NZ residents - good luck!

PS: tune in to the Candybox blog to hear the story (soon) behind the forlorn looking bulldog and angry cat - I love them!

Little Artist Giveaway

I have a great week lined up for all my lovely readers, with not one, but two giveaways on offer. The first one is from a gorgeous new company called Little Artist.

Created by Debbie Greenfield, an Auckland mum of two, Little Artist provides you with a way of preserving and displaying your children's precious artworks. Rather than storing it away in a box, or letting it become dog-eared on the fridge, Debbie will scan it and transfer it into your choice of design, so you can treasure it forever. Children's art is so beautiful and unrestrained, and this is a perfect way to capture the magic. Debbie has made the process as simple and pain-free as possible. You can read more about her process here.

As well as prints, you also have the option of turning your child's art into a tea towel.

Debbie has kindly offered one of Cush & Nooks' readers a Confetti print (valued at $105), created using your own child's drawings, in your choice of a black or white frame. All you have to do is visit the Little Artist website, and report back to me with the name of your favourite print design. You can leave your answer in a comment below, or under the link on the Cush & Nooks facebook page. The winner will be announced on my blog and facebook page next Monday 11th February. If the winner doesn't get in touch within 24 hours a new winner will be drawn. Competition only open to New Zealand residents.

Competition now closed - congratulations Briony McDonald for winning this gorgeous print.

Adore Magazine & Book

I'm always excited when the latest issue of Adore magazine comes out, Loni never fails to blow me away with page after page of glorious products, home, shops and more.

There's a gorgeous feature on decorating kids' rooms. They're probably my favourite rooms to decorate, as you can go a little bit crazy, and be more adventurous than you might be in an adult's room. The library wallpaper in this first room is amazing!

You'll also find a profile on one of my new favourite designers, Clair Wayman, and her shop, Curio & Curio.

We learn all about the power of colour - amen.

Writer Cassie Hansen takes us on a tour of her favourite shops in South Melbourne.

And Alice Stephenson shows us around her beautiful, colourful home.

But, even more exciting than the arrival of this new issue, is the news that Adore is looking to print a book later this year featuring gorgeous, inspiring homes - some from previous issues and some we've never seen before. In order for this book to come to fruition a lot of money is needed, and Loni and her team need help to raise it. Please support them by pre-ordering your copy, or there are a range of other ways to help. Click here for more info.
